Mystery Quilt

Have you every done a Mystery Quilt?  I think they are a lot of fun.  Bonnie Hunter is about to start her anuual mystery quilt called “On Ringo Lake” a Quiltville Mystery. It will start Friday Novemeber 24th.  You will be able to find all the information you need at her blog:

There is a supply list available now at her blog  She gives you paint chip information  to help you get the colors she has in mind.  You don’t have to choose these colors.  Just remember you need constrast and value within your fabrics.

Here are the three main colors in her mystery.  It is called “On Ringo Lake” so these colors go with colors of the lake in Minnesota. In her Blog she gives the amount of each color to complete the quilt top.

 

We have cut Fat Quarters  ready to go   This is suppose to be a scrappy quilt.  So you don’t need a lot of one fabric.  We are here help you if you need any colors that may be missing from your stash.  We also have fabrics that you can use  for the backgrounds.  If you are not local we can send you anything you need. Mention this blog post and we will include a free fat quarter for every six you buy.

One of the tools Boonie talks about is the Simple Folder Corner ruler by Doug Leko of “Anter Quilt Designs” This ruler is a big time saver.  You ill never have to draw another line for a folded corner again.  We have them in stock.
